Am I covered if I go overseas to do training in basketball, or any other sport?
To have cover under the Benefits for playing or training in amateur basketball, you must take out the Adventure Pack.
To confirm if cover is available for training in another type of sport, you should check our Adventure Pack.
Note:
- Cover is not available under our policies if you are playing basketball or any sport professionally
- There is no cover under our policies for the following benefits if you play basketball, or for any sport listed in the Adventure Pack:
- Benefit 10: Permanent Disability
- Benefit 11: Loss of Income
- Benefit 18: Personal Liability
You are free to make a claim, and the Claims team will assess your claim and make a decision based on your particular circumstances.
