Can two friends from different states get a Duo travel insurance policy?

A Duo policy can be taken out by two travellers who are travelling together on the same itinerary for at least 75% of the trip who are both listed in the Certificate of Insurance. It doesn’t matter if you live in different states of Australia, what matters is that your departure and return dates line up and you’re travelling together on the same journey. 

This type of policy is commonly chosen by couples, relatives, or friends who want to share one policy instead of buying two separate Single policies.
