What happens when I apply for a travel insurance policy?

When you apply for the policy, we will confirm with you details about your trip, including but not limited to the period of cover, your destination, travellers to be listed on your policy, existing medical conditions that are included as covered or excluded from cover, what cover options and excesses will apply, whether any standard terms are to be varied (this may be by way of an endorsement) and your premium.

These details will be recorded on the Certificate of Insurance issued to you.

You should make sure that you check that the details on your Certificate of Insurance are accurate and complete, and notify us if not, as you have a duty to provide us with honest, accurate and complete information to any questions that we ask you, otherwise, if you do not, it may negatively impact your policy or claim.

If we are unable to offer you the cover you seek, it may be because the particular product offered is not designed to cover a particular risk or risks including, but not limited to, some geographical regions, some pre-existing medical conditions or some ages. In such a case if you would like to discuss your options please send an email to info@fastcover.com.au or call us on 1300 409 322.

The Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) sets out the cover we are able to provide you with. You need to decide if the benefit limits, type and level of cover are appropriate for you and your trip.

If you have any queries, want further information about the policy or want to confirm a transaction, please send an email to info@fastcover.com.au or call us on 1300 409 322.
