Why are your Already Overseas policies more expensive than policies which start in Australia?

Our policies are priced depending on your age, where you're travelling to, how long you're travelling for and the type of activities that you'll be doing. From our experience, a traveller who buys a policy after they have already left Australia is more likely to make a claim, so the premium of an Already Overseas policy also reflects that risk.

Other eligibility requirements apply if you are purchasing a policy when you have already left Australia.

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).

Accidents can happen to anyone and anytime, and the cost of medical cover in some countries can run in the tens of thousands of dollars. If something does go wrong on your holiday, having a travel insurance policy to cover for the unexpected may far exceed the cost of the policy itself.
