How long does my bag have to be missing before I can claim?
You can submit your claim once you have documentation to support your claim.
If your airline has lost your bag, you will need to obtain documentation from them confirming that they have lost your bag. You can submit your claim for your lost bag once you have received the documentation.
If your bag has been stolen, you must, where it is reasonably possible, report the loss or theft within 24-hours to the police or an office of the bus line, airline, shipping line or rail authority you were travelling on when the loss or theft occurred.
