Do Fast Cover overseas policies automatically include cover for Rental Vehicle Insurance Excess?

Cover for Rental Vehicle Insurance Excess is not automatically included in every policy. It is only available as an optional benefit under selected policies, such as the Comprehensive, Snow Sports Plus, Frequent Traveller Saver, and Standard Saver for an additional premium. If you have one of these policies and hire a rental vehicle that meets the definition in the PDS, you may be able to claim for the excess charged by the rental company if the vehicle is damaged or stolen. 

Policies such as the Basics policy do not include this benefit. 

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
