Am I covered if I ride a motorcycle above 3000 metres?

You are NOT automatically covered to ride a motorcycle OR travel above 3000 metres.

If you plan to ride or be a passenger on a motorcycle, moped or scooter you will need to take out the Motorcycle Pack for an additional premium, available to travellers aged 74 and under at the time of policy purchase.

If you are riding a motorcycle on a public road and not off road, and comply with the conditions of your policy, cover is available under the Motorcycle Pack for riding above 3000 m. However, if you are going to be getting off your motorcycle at any time to hike, trek or tramp above 3000 m and under 6000 m, you will need to take out the Adventure Pack for this activity and comply with the conditions of your policy.

All claims are assessed on a case by case basis and the outcome of your claim will depend on your particular circumstances.

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS)
