What if my condition changes after I buy my travel insurance policy?
If your medical or pregnancy condition changes or worsens after purchasing your policy but before your trip starts, you might need to complete a medical screening over the phone.
If we can provide cover for your updated condition, you may need to pay any additional premium by the required time, and your Certificate of Insurance will be updated to list the condition as covered.
If we cannot offer cover, or you choose not to disclose the change, no cover will apply for that condition (to the extent permitted by law).
Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
