Does the definition of an existing medical condition only apply to the policyholder?

No, the definition of an existing medical condition applies to every traveller listed on your Certificate of Insurance, including dependants. This means that if you, your partner, or any dependants travelling with you have an existing medical condition, it must be declared and assessed during the application process.

Declaring these conditions ensures that we can assess whether cover can be included under your travel insurance policy.

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
