Will the price of my premium change if I have a pre-existing medical condition?
The following is general advice only and does not take into account your individual needs, objectives or financial situation. Consider the PDS prior to deciding whether this policy is appropriate for you and your trip.
If we agree to provide you with cover for your existing medical condition following a medical screening, an additional premium will apply to include cover for that condition and included in the final total quote at checkout.
You can choose to not pay the additional premium for your existing medical condition following your medical screening, however this means that you will not have any cover under your policy for your existing medical condition.
If you have:
- had a medical or pregnancy condition within the 3 years prior to your policy purchase date, or
- not notified us of a change in health or new medical condition as mentioned above, and
- they are not listed as a covered condition on your certificate of insurance,
there is no cover for any claims under the policy arising from any of those medical or pregnancy conditions.

Cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
