One of my trips is longer than the number of days on my Frequent Traveller Saver policy. What do I do?

One of my trips is longer than the number of days on my Frequent Traveller Saver policy, what do I do?

If your trip is going to be longer than the trip duration you’ve chosen on your Frequent Traveller Saver policy (for example 15, 25, 40, 63 days), you have two options:

  1. Upgrade your Frequent Traveller Saver policy to a higher trip duration before the start date of your journey.
  2. Purchase an additional Single Trip policy to cover the extra days beyond your Frequent Traveller Saver limit.
  3. If you are already overseas and an unexpected emergency occurs that requires you to stay for more than 63 days, please contact the Fast Cover Travel Insurance customer service team on 1300 409 322 or email info@fastcover.com.au

Please note that if you are aware prior to purchasing the policy that your trip will exceed 63 days, you will not be eligible for cover under the Frequent Traveller Saver policy.

If your Frequent Traveller Saver policy already includes cover for your spouse or dependants:

  • You’ll need to purchase a Duo policy if your spouse is included.
  • You’ll need to purchase a Family policy if both your spouse and dependants are included.

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
