Does travel insurance cover debit card replacement?

You can submit a claim under the Passports, Credit Cards, and Credit Card Fraud benefit. You may be reimbursed for the replacement costs of debit cards if they are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed during your overseas trip. This benefit can also include reasonable communication costs associated with the replacement. 

Please note that this benefit is only available under the Comprehensive, Standard Saver, Snow Sports Plus and Frequent Traveller Saver Policy.  

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
