How do I get a claim number?

Online claim: You will be issued with a claim number after you have created your new claim online.
Emailed/Posted claim: The claims team will advise you of your claim number within 10 business days of their receipt of your claim, in their communications with you.
Phone claim: The claims team member will advise you of your claim number over the phone.

Note:

  • Your claim number will be different to your policy number. 
  • If you have a policy and don't yet have a claim number, you should use your policy number in any communications with the Claims team until you are issued with your claim number.
  • The Claims hotline is open from 9am to 5pm Sydney time Monday to Friday and they can be contacted on 1300 409 322 or dial +61 2 8215 7239 if you are still overseas.
