How will I receive my travel insurance claim number?
Once you lodge a claim with Fast Cover, a claim number will be issued to you. This number is a unique identifier for your claim and is different from your policy number.
The way you receive your claim number depends on how your claim is submitted:
- Online Claim: If you submit your claim online via the Fast Cover website, your claim number will be generated and provided immediately after submission.
- Email or Post: If you submit your claim by email or post, the Claims Team will issue your claim number within 10 business days of receiving your claim.
- Phone Claim: If you lodge your claim over the phone, the Claims Team will advise you of your claim number during the call.
If you have not received a claim number but have submitted your documentation, you should use your policy number in all communications with the Claims Team until your claim number is confirmed.
Claims can be submitted in writing, and Fast Cover aims to process claims within 10 business days of receiving a completed claim form and all necessary supporting documentation. If further information is required, you will be notified in writing within 10 business days.
