Am I covered if I have to rebook my flight more than once because my doctor changes the date I can fly?
If your doctor overseas changes their medical advice about when you’re fit to fly, you may be able to claim for the reasonable additional expenses you incur in rebooking your return flight, even if this happens more than once.
Please make sure that you have all supporting documentation (including your doctor's report confirming the change to the date that you were allowed to fly home) and receipts for these expenses.
Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
