Can I make a claim for my luggage and personal effects if I don't have receipts?

Yes, you can still make a claim. We understand that you might not be able to provide receipts for each and every item. However, you still have to provide evidence of ownership. You may submit photographic evidence in conjunction with warranty cards, manuals, receipts, bank or credit card statements to support your proof of ownership.

You must take care to reasonably protect and secure yourluggage and personal effects at all times, and you must: where it is reasonably possible, report the loss or theft within 24-hours to the police or an office of the bus line, airline, shipping line or rail authority you were travelling on when the loss or theft occurred.
