Can I buy extra cover for my camera lense only?

You can choose to buy extra cover for certain valuable items by listing them as Specified high value items. Cameras and their lenses are eligible, but there is an important detail to know.

A camera and its lenses are treated as one related set, which means they count as a single item unless each piece is separately insured. If you want the lens itself to have its own higher cover limit, you will need to list it individually as a Specified high value item on your Certificate of Insurance.

Keep in mind that fragile or brittle items cannot be declared, but camera equipment is specifically included as eligible.

Please not that specifying high value item can only be done under Comprehensive, Snow Sports Plus, and Frequent Traveller Saver policy.

Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
