Are children covered under a Family policy if they attend a Kid’s Club during the trip?
Children listed on a Family policy remain covered while taking part in organised activities such as a Kid’s Club, as long as they are still travelling with at least one of the adults named on the Certificate of Insurance for the full trip itinerary.
Being apart from you during supervised activities like a Kid’s Club does not affect their eligibility as dependants under the policy. What matters is that they are included on the policy and meet the dependant definition, which requires them to be aged 20 and under, not in full-time employment, and travelling with a listed adult for 100% of the journey.
Every claim is reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis and will only be paid if it meets the terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions in your policy. Always check the PDS carefully so you know exactly what’s included before you travel.
